Evansville Water and Sewer Utility public meetings scheduled next week
Utility to present information, seek feedback on Renew Evansville sewer plan
EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The Evansville Water and Sewer Utility (EWSU) is hosting a series of public meetings next week to present its proposed final Integrated Overflow Control Plan (IOCP) to improve and modernize Evansville’s sewer system. The IOCP is mandated by the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM), the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Department of Justice.
The effort to implement the plan, called
Renew Evansville, will be one of the City’s largest capital improvement projects to date. Community members are encouraged to attend the meetings, which will be hosted by
Renew Evansville team members and engineers.

Tuesday, May 14
9 to 10:30 a.m., McCollough Library, 5115 Washington Ave.
6:30 to 8:00, Bosse High School, 1300 Washington Ave.
Wednesday, May 15
9:30 to 11 a.m., North Park Library, 960 Koehler Dr.
6:30 to 8:00 p.m., Vogel Elementary, 1500 Oak Hill Rd.
Thursday, May 16
9:30 to 11 a.m., Red Bank Library, 120 S. Red Bank Rd.
6:30 to 8:00 p.m., Fairlawn Elementary, 2021 S. Alvord Blvd.
