The Sports Department offers adult recreational programs for Men's, Women’s and Co-Ed teams in different skill levels for Basketball, Flag Football, Indoor Volleyball, Sand Volleyball, Soccer, and Softball. The Sports Department schedules and manages over 1,200 teams each year with an estimated 10,000 program participants for all leagues. The Sports Department also offers a “Free Agent” registration for those individuals that wish to play in one of the above mentioned programs, but have no team to play on. Softball leagues are offered for 3 seasons: Spring, Summer and Fall; Leagues play Sunday's through Friday's. Registration is offered from mid-March through August each year. Players as well as teams can play in various leagues throughout the season. Leagues are scheduled for 7, 8, 10 or 11 weeks and all teams are ASA sanctioned.
The City of Evansville Softball Tournament is held in mid to late August each year for those teams that competed in either the Spring or Summer city leagues. Men's and Co-Rec Division's are offered to compete for the crown of "City of Evansville Softball Champion. The 2011 Men's Softball Champion team is T.O./ Nitro Fitness

Sand Volleyball matches are offered for 2 seasons: Summer & Fall. Registrations are held from April through August for Doubles, Quads or Sixes teams. Leagues play Sunday through Friday on 6 lighted courts at Wesselman Park.

Indoor Volleyball is offered 3 seasons a year: Fall, Winter and Spring. Leagues are played Monday through Thursday. All matches are played at local churches, schools, the C.K. Newsome Community Center and the YMCA gyms with officials and scorekeepers.
Basketball leagues are offered 2 seasons a year: Fall and Winter. Leagues are played Sunday through Thursday. Games are played at local churches and the C.K. Newsome Community Center with referees and scorekeepers.
Soccer leagues are currently offered 2 seasons a year: Summer and Fall. Leagues are played on Sunday's at the new State of the Art Goebel Soccer Complex on Evansville’s northeast side.
Flag Football leagues are currently offered 2 seasons a year also: Late Summer and Fall. Leagues are played on Sunday's on the synthetic turf at the New Goebel Soccer complex.
Most leagues are played in the evening, although softball,soccer and flag football are also played on Sunday afternoons. Midnight leagues are also offered for softball to accommodate shift workers, and will be added for volleyball and basketball if the demand increases.
