Lieutenants Chris McCutchan, Mike Tooley and Larry Zuber were promoted to the rank of Captain in accordance with the Fire Merit Ordinance after recent retirements created the vacancies. Fire Chief Connelly was on hand to present each with their new badge and a congratulatory handshake.
McCutchan, a seven year department veteran, will be assigned to Fire Station #4 on Oak Hill Road while Tooley, an 18 year vet, will be assigned to Station #2 on Maxx Road and Zuber, a 20 year department member, will call Station #6 on Washington Avenue his new home. Zuber is also the current President of Firefighters Local 357.
