The Evansville Water and Sewer Utility (EWSU) is hosting a public meeting at Bosse High School on Tuesday, Aug. 28, to present its draft Integrated Overflow Control Plan (IOCP). The meeting will be from 5 to 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium.
The IOCP – mandated by the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM), the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Department of Justice – will improve and modernize Evansville’s sewer system.
The effort to implement the plan, called Renew Evansville, will be one of the City’s largest capital improvement projects to date. Community members are encouraged to attend the meeting, which will be presented by Renew Evansville team members and engineers.
