Existing Residential Customers

Current Evansville residents and existing EWSU customers with an excellent pay history may call our office to initiate new installation services. 

As a reminder, EWSU does not offer summer rates for watering your lawn; instead, you may install a second meter. Please refer to the Split Service Fee found in our Water Rates and Fees page for more information.

New Residential Customers

If you are a new residential customer building a home or adding a water and/or sewer connection, please visit our office and bring your valid picture ID. If you are renting, please bring your lease with the landlord's name, address and phone number, and your valid picture ID. See rates and fees for meter deposit requirements here.

Commercial and Industrial Customers

  • EWSU will install a water tap into the main in front of your property and a stop box at the edge your property.
  • For new residential customers, EWSU charges a front-footage fee for your property.
  • Customers are responsible for having a licensed plumber set the meter and lay piping.
