Project Background

In 2005, Mayor Jonathan Weinzapfel held a special public meeting to discuss improving the appearance of the City's neighborhoods with Evansville residents.  From that meeting, nearly 70 people volunteered to help create a new Property Maintenance Code (PMC) to replace the previous Housing Code, which was adopted in 1982.
