Certificates of Appropriateness

At the regular monthly meeting of the Historic Preservation Commission, applications for Certificates of Appropriateness will be publicly heard and considered.

For work within the city's two historic districts, property owners must submit an application for Certificate of Appropriateness (COA). The type of COA can vary, either a Staff-Approved COA or Commission-Approved COA, based upon the work scope that is intended to be performed.

Please see the District Guidelines and Procedures for the work scope pertaining to your intended project and related COA approval type.
