Admissions: operates point of sale, handles admission revenues and processes related transactions, answer phones, and sells memberships. Gift Shop: operates gift shop including programming merchandise into the POS software, stocking, cleaning, and maintaining overall appearance. Birthday Host: serves as host for birthday parties including set up and tear down, conducts tours and animal encounters. Facility Rentals & Special Events: Assists with set up and tear down of rentals and events. Attractions: operates paddleboats, bumper boats and carousel. Giraffe Feedings: conduct twice daily public giraffe feedings. Tram Tours: operate passenger tram and also serve as a tour guide. General cleaning and janitorial checks, general visitor amenities, staff contact petting zoo area, staff budgie aviary and assist in emergency situations.

Position requires good communication skills and must be friendly, neat in appearance and be able to deal with directly with the public in a positive manner. Candidates must be able to work outside in heat and other adverse weather conditions and be able to lift up to 40 pounds.  Computer and retail experience is a plus.  Must have a valid driver's license.  Just have flexible work schedule and be able to work weekends, holidays and some evenings for special events.  Position may require assisting with training of new employees and supervising volunteers on occasion. This position reports to Guest Services Assistant or Guest Services Manager.
