Drives crew truck and operates air compressor; directs crews, operators and truck drivers in repair and maintenance of all waterworks appurtenances; constructs new mains and services when assigned; keeps required records.  Maintain traffic control as required.  Performs construction duties, preventative maintenance and reports needed repairs and damages.  Works any shift, overtime, weekends and holidays as required.  Performs other duties as assigned and assists other employees as required.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; will consider applicants without diploma based upon experience demonstrating required abilities and skills.  Must possess/maintain a valid Driver’s License. Commercial Drivers License (CDL) preferred but not required. Should possess thorough knowledge of and experience in construction and possess practical knowledge of tools, machinery and equipment with good mechanical aptitude.
