RATE: $55,000.00 annually

FULL TIME
DUTIES:

Attends early coordination meetings at the Developers request to discuss potential private development projects. Reviews Site and subdivision applications for completeness, thoroughness, and accuracy. Attends and coordinates a technical group review including capital project managers and operations managers. Coordinates technical review response with the administrative review response of the Engineering Services Coordinator. Attends mandatory coordination meetings. Understands and incorporates the Evansville Water & Sewer Utility Water and Sewer Manual into private applications. Establishes and maintains effective and cooperative working relationships with developers, contractors, design professionals, industry groups, and all other project applicants. Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred. Applicants with an Associate’s Degree in a construction field and a minimum of eight (8) years of experience are encouraged to apply. Ability to read and discuss construction plans and information housed in GIS mapping systems. Specific knowledge of review approvals, ordinances, and permitting application processes. Practical knowledge of building construction practices. The ability to develop working relationships with various local, state and federal agencies. Ability to effectively and tactfully deal with developers and design professionals. The ability to implement innovative processes to streamline current workflow and evaluate and update procedures. Requires a valid Indiana Driver’s License and use of personal vehicle to conduct site visits.
