Thank you for taking the time to nominate an individual to be featured on one of Evansville’s Black History Celebration Banners. The purpose of this recognition is to celebrate Black History by highlighting the stories of trailblazers and leaders who have positively impacted Evansville.

Nomination Criteria

· All nominations must be for a person.

· The individual can be from any time throughout Evansville's History.

· The individual should have made a significant impact or positive contributions to the Evansville community.

· The individual’s story will help to inspire the next generation of leaders in Evansville.

· The individual does not have to have been born or raised in Evansville, but they must have a sincere connection to the community.
