Mayor's Office: Request a Special Letter

 Step 1 of 1

Mayor Winnecke will consider requests for letters like this:

  • Letters of Support for grants or projects
  • Letters of Welcome for groups and reunions
  • Letters of Congratulations for birthdays, special achievement, etc., for residents of Evansville
  • There must be a local Evansville connection

At Least 2 Weeks Notice is Required before the date you want the letter for your letter to be considered. We review requests during our weekly staff meetings. The more lead-time you give us will allow us more time to consider and/or process the request.

Letter Formats

We provide one original letter, and we will either MAIL the letter to the recipient or other designated person, or the letter CAN BE PICKED UP in the Mayor's Office. We can also EMAIL a PDF file to the person who requested the letter. We do not email artwork to printing companies.

For Questions please call (812) 436-4962.
