The Evansville Fire Department is committed to helping keep our community safe. If you need smoke alarms installed in your home, please complete the form below to request assistance.

Through this program, department personnel may provide and install smoke alarms at no cost for eligible city residents. Working smoke alarms are one of the most effective ways to protect your family by providing early warning in the event of a fire.

After submitting your request, a member of the department will review the information and contact you to schedule an installation appointment if appropriate.
