Local vendors have been reporting fabricated email notices from the City of Evansville. The message contains a link asking businesses to verify and update information.

Our Computer Services team has identified this type of email as a phishing attempt to collect sensitive information. 

If you receive a suspected phishing email, do not open any associated links, notify your IT staff.
