Update: INDOT to close Green River, Weinbach ramps on Lloyd Expressway

(March 9, 2020) — The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announced ramp closures on State Road 66 (Lloyd Expressway) as a part of ongoing concrete patching operations.

INDOT contractors will close the ramps from Green River Road to the westbound Lloyd Expressway and the ramp from Weinbach Avenue to westbound Lloyd Expressway starting on or around Monday, March 16.

(March 3, 2020) — The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) will resume their pavement patching concrete joint repair project that began last spring.

INDOT contractors will close one lane of State Road 66 (Lloyd Expressway) intermittently during the daytime between U.S. 41 and Fielding Road.

The department said the majority of the work will take place at night, when traffic volumes are lower.

More from INDOT:

Lane closures will be intermittent depending upon the work schedule of the contractor and the locations identified for repairs. Two lanes will be open in either direction during daylight hours. The project is scheduled to be complete by the end of June, however inclement weather could cause delays.

INDOT urges drivers to slow down and stay alert near crews.
