Mayor's Blog

November 14, 2025
This week has been about rest and renewal. Serving as mayor is an incredible honor and a tremendous responsibility. It requires focus, energy, and perspective, and I’ve learned that taking time to recharge isn’t just important for me personally; it’s essential to giving my best to the people of Evansville.
Even as I took a step back to rest, the work of our city continued. Our teams have been hard at work maintaining services, pushing forward on projects, and preparing for the busy holiday season ahead. I was especially excited to see the Mayor’s Youth Advisory Council hard at work this week, filling our Little Pantries with food.
Speaking of: I also want to remind everyone about the Little Pantry Food Drive. As we head into the holidays, these donations make a real difference for families who are struggling. If you’re able, please consider dropping off non-perishable items at one of the Little Pantry locations around the city. You can find a full list at evansville.in.gov/snap.
Taking care of ourselves and taking care of each other go hand in hand. I’m grateful for the time to recharge, and I’m ready to get back to work refreshed, renewed, and focused on continuing to move Evansville forward together.
Have a great weekend,
- Stephanie
