Each agency sending an Officer/Deputy to SWILEA will be required to supply their student with the following: 

• 2000 rounds of ball ammunition
• 400 rounds of duty ammunition
• 100 rounds of 8 shot shell for a 12  gauge shot gun
• 25 slug rounds for a 12 gauge shot gun
• 25 rounds of 00 Buck for a 12 gauge shot gun
• 1000 rounds of 55 grain .223 ball ammo
• Hearing and eye protection
• Dummy ammo for handgun and shotgun

If the Officer/Deputy attending the academy has a department or personal owned shotgun approved for duty use, they should bring to the Firearms section of the academy.
