Tizimín, MEXICO
On May 19, 2011, after a three-year relationship between Rotary Club of Evansville and Rotary Club of Merida, Mexico, Evansville Mayor Jonathan Weinzapfel and Tizimín President José D. Mezo Peniche, M.D. signed an agreement for the Establishment of a Sister City Relationship Between the City of Evansville, Indiana, United States of America and the Municipality of Tizimín, Yucatán, United Mexican States.
