(January 28, 2020) — The Complete Count Committee in January launched the 2020 Census Evansville Facebook page.

The U.S. Census Bureau announced they are seeking to fill 800 positions in Vanderburgh County, and the Facebook page will serve as a local resource for the latest information on Census jobs and participation.

In partnership with the Bureau, the Winnecke Administration enlisted the Complete Count Committee to serve as champions of the upcoming Count.

The committee has been tasked with the following roles:

• Bridge all gaps between the community and the Census Bureau;
• Create awareness programs to encourage the public to apply for Census jobs;
• Inform the public of the importance of their part in the Census; and
• To make the public aware of the many ways Census data is used to get funding.
